Welcome to the tribute to Michael Jackson's Thriller album (c.1982). Thriller 25 is a multimedia theme ride celebrating 25 years since the release of the biggest selling album of all-time (with current sales exceeding 104 million copies to date). Offered is an intimate look at the career of the THE GREATEST PERFORMER OF ALL TIME (!) through concert footage (from the Victory, Bad, Dangerous, and HIStory tours) and rare video highlights (Internet and television species). -Mr. Quincy Jones, the producer of the Thriller album was the invited guest, but has since declined.
3) Why are you charging admission?
-Thriller 25 was to be a free event, but we decided to charge to cover the cost of venue rental and to have online registration to keep statistics on attendees.
4) What is this 'ride'?
-Thriller 25 is an on-screen production. Simply, it is a collage of edited video footage sequenced as such so that there is a pleasant flow & feel. The 'ride' aspect is courtesy of Michael Jackson, as the audience enjoys his entertainment. There are no animatronics or any gimicks that could cause bodily harm (a la a ride at Universal Studios).
5) How do I win prizes?
-Online registration was a requisite for winning, and has been discontinued. There may, however, be prizes given away at the Event. Thank you.
